# Arashiyama Gyatei

The name comes from a line of the Heart Sutra and means go as you please. A priest of Tenryuji temple gave it, about thirty years ago. Kyoto vegetables arrive each morning from partner farms and the market, and stock drawn from kelp and bonito underpins everything, pickles and sweets included. Most of the eighty seats are box seats for six. The signature dish is rice under a thick yuba sauce.
