# Hitachi Seaside Park

The park opened in 1991 and 237 of a planned 350 hectares are now in use. Narcissus and tulips come first, then nemophila, roses, sunflowers, cosmos and kochia turning red in mid-October. A seaside train circles the grounds in about forty minutes, stopping at nine points. The amusement park, forest climbing frames, a water play area and open lawns fill the rest. Strollers are lent free at all four gates.
