# Akita Furusato Mura

Four Tokyo Domes' worth of ground sits off the Yokote interchange, with outdoor sculpture and lawns to spread a packed lunch on. Covered walkways join the buildings. Play means the Spaceia planetarium, one of the largest in the Tohoku region, and Wonder Castle, full of trick art and play equipment. There is also the Wanpaku play area, a craft hall, a modern art museum and a make-your-own studio. The shop carries ten thousand lines, among them Inaniwa udon from a 160-year-old maker and Yokote yakisoba.
