fee: "Children are charged from age three. A free pass includes admission; with an admission ticket alone, most rides cost ¥500-600 each, and from seven rides the free pass works out cheaper. The bus-and-pass page lists the one-day free pass at ¥4,700 for adults and ¥4,400 for children. Showing a disability or rehabilitation certificate gets the holder and one adult companion a half-price free pass and free admission. A prefecture-issued child-raising support passport, shown before paying, brings a food voucher worth ¥100 with an admission ticket or ¥300 with a free pass, for up to five people (city- or town-issued ones do not count)."

# Lina World

The park sits in Kaminoyama, Yamagata, its name made from light, nature, wind and water. The Hello Kitty Ferris wheel was the first in Japan, and there are Sanrio character teacups to spin in and a two-tier carousel. A cycle monorail runs 220 metres through the air, and a walk-through maze has climbing frames built into it. The Child Corner gathers coin-operated rides, including a small train for one adult and one child.

- Area: yamagata
- Type: activity
- Hours: Opening days and hours are set by the park's operating calendar. The car park opens an hour before the park does.

| Best-fit ages (guide) | Yes | Charging starts at age three. About ten rides take children up to age two, with a parent riding along as a rule. | Stroller access notes | Yes | The nearest station is Kaminoyama-Onsen. Buses stop at Lina World-mae on the Route 13 bypass, or Kanagame-minami on prefectural road 267. A Lina Bus Set combines a return bus ticket from Yamagata (¥1,080 adult, ¥540 child) with the one-day free pass. The car park opens an hour before the park and has no toilets, so go before you arrive. Re-entry is allowed for trips back to the car park — show your ticket to staff. Coin lockers take luggage; anything too big is held at the gate for ¥500 a piece. Assistance dogs are welcome, other animals are not, and the park is non-smoking except in the smoking area. | 2026-08-14 (web) | [source](https://www.linaworld.co.jp/faq/index.html) |
