# Tokashiki Island

Sea turtles off Tokashiku Beach, the island's quiet beach, are the main draw, likely to appear in the morning or evening. A family with a toddler and a school-age child spotted one and swam beside it. At low tide the shallow bay lets small children play where their feet touch. At Aharen Beach, the popular white-sand one, one family saw small fish as soon as they waded in (August 2025). A 5- and a 7-year-old snorkeled there in life jackets. Both suit wading, but the boat is the catch.
