The meat shop is the company's largest, and its delicatessen counter can sell over 2,000 croquettes and minced-pork cutlets on a busy day. Saiboku no Mori is a lawn with ten kinds of climbing frames and a 350-metre path, plus a smaller wooden set for young children. The herd moved to Yamanashi in 2002, and a hot spring found on the old pasture became a day bathhouse in 2004. - Area: saitama - Type: restaurant - Average stay: 180 min - Hours: Each part of the grounds keeps its own hours. The meat shop, the cafeteria and the farm-produce stand run 9:00-18:30, the Kitchen and the fruit-and-juice bar 10:00-17:00, and Restaurant SAIBOKU 11:00-19:00 with last orders at 18:30. All of these close on Wednesdays, except that public-holiday Wednesdays open as usual and July and December run without a closing day. The athletic field opens 9:00-17:00 from March to November and 9:00-16:00 from December to February, with last entry an hour before closing, and it also closes on Wednesdays. The hot spring works to a different rhythm: 10:00-22:00 with last entry at 21:00, closed one Tuesday a month. Buses can run more than an hour apart at some times of day. By car it is about 5 minutes from the Sayama-Hidaka interchange on the Ken-o expressway and about 3 minutes from the Kawagoe interchange on the Kan-etsu expressway. At Restaurant SAIBOKU you can stay in a wheelchair at the table - tell a staff member. Anything you buy at the meat shop can be kept in the restaurant's fridge while you eat.
