# Kouri Island

Kouri Beach has about 300 m of sand on its main western side, and the water stays shallow far out. A 15-month-old played in the water and sand until soaked. At Kouri Ocean Tower, an observation tower, a self-driving cart lets children sit in the driver's seat, which delighted a 4-year-old. Heart Rock, a heart-shaped rock, took one family with two school-age children 6 to 7 minutes from their parking lot, down a sandy stairway. Beach, cart and rock walk fit into one outing, and you will want a car.
