Kansai Airport stands on its own artificial island in Osaka Bay and has two passenger terminals.
Terminal 1, designed by the architect Renzo Piano, handles full-service airlines including ANA and Japan Airlines, as well as Jetstar.
Terminal 2 is the low-cost side — plainly built, with no jet bridges — and it is used by Peach, Spring Airlines and Jeju Air. A free shuttle bus runs between the two in 7 to 9 minutes.

Those rooms are built for the whole family to go in together, with only the nursing area kept for women, and most have a microwave and hot water for formula.

Terminal 1 is long, so borrow the free stroller at the second-floor information counter even when your gate looks close, and nobody ends up being carried the length of the building.
The Nankai line reaches Namba in about 40 minutes, and the limousine buses to Osaka and Kobe give everyone a seat with no stairs to climb, which counts when a child has fallen asleep.
