Basics

The museum floors are on levels two and three; level one is a floor of shops and food. Inside, eight areas carry names like Ball Park, Everyone's Town and the Bread Factory. Shows run on the main stage, and character greetings bring Anpanman and his friends out. Every summer a water-play area soaks anyone who brings a change of clothes. Fourteen shops fill the ground floor, and the restaurant has dishes made without the eight major allergens. The building is indoors throughout, so rain changes nothing.

Stroller friendlyYesIt depends on the floor. On the free shop, food and restaurant floor (1F) a stroller is fine. Inside the Museum on 3F it is not — you leave it at the stroller park on 2F, where no staff are stationed, so take your valuables with you. The building itself is reachable by ramp and lift throughout.Web-checkedchecked Aug ’26yokohama-anpanman.jp
Stroller rentalNoNo strollers, baby carriers or wheelchairs are lent. Wheelchairs of your own can be used — staff will help.Web-checkedchecked Aug ’26yokohama-anpanman.jp
Nursing spaceYes (2)Nursing rooms with changing tables are on 1F and 3F, and both floors have a water heater for making up formula. The Family Station on 1F keeps a microwave for warming baby food. Liquid formula is sold at Anpanman Terrace on 1F, and nappies at Anpanman Terrace and the Museum Shop on 2F. Eating and drinking is not allowed inside the Museum — babies' milk is given in the nursing room.Web-checkedchecked Aug ’26yokohama-anpanman.jp

Meals belong on 1F, where the Anpanman Restaurant and the Gohan-ya-san food court both offer dishes made without the eight designated allergens, and kids' chairs are provided. Stroller access notesExtra info — guide onlyYesFour things worth settling before you go. The ticket: the Museum floors need a date-and-time web ticket bought in advance — there is no counter sale — and it goes on sale 28 days ahead at 10:00. The stroller: fine on 1F, not allowed inside the 3F Museum, left at the unstaffed stroller park on 2F. Getting there: three minutes from exit 3 of Shin-takashima on the Minatomirai line, or ten minutes on foot from the east exit of Yokohama station; by car, ten minutes from the Minatomirai exit of the Shuto Expressway Yokohane line — and the car park cannot be entered by turning right. Parking: 128 spaces in the first car park (B1), height limit 2.3 m (2.1 m in places), 600 yen for the first hour then 400 yen per 30 minutes, with three accessible bays; the garden asks you to come by train where you can. Luggage: coin lockers at the 2F Museum entrance and on 1F, 400 to 700 yen, same-day use only, no bag drop at the information desk.Web-checkedchecked Aug ’26yokohama-anpanman.jpyokohama-anpanman.jp
