This children's museum is built around Anpanman, a Japanese cartoon character, and it says plainly why it exists: to grant children's wish to meet him.
The paid floors (2F and 3F) hold eight themed areas, among them a ball-play area, a school, a small town, and a bread factory. Shows run on the main stage, and the characters come out to meet visitors at set times.

At the craft corner, kids make their own mask of Anpanman, a Japanese cartoon character, and wear it for the rest of the visit.
You can't eat on the museum floors (2F and 3F), so take meals down to 1F, where the food court needs no ticket and the ticket you came in on gets you back up afterward.
Tickets are sold online only, each for a set date and entry time, so book before you set out, because the counter on site does not sell them as a rule.
Parents who wrote up their visits went in during the morning and left in the early afternoon, about three and a half to four hours inside.

- Ages 0-1It is fully indoors, and the museum sets no age limit and no time limit, so a baby can come in. The shop, food, and restaurant floor on the 1st floor needs no ticket and strollers can be used there. Character greetings bring Anpanman and his friends out to meet visitors.Admission is charged from age 1, at 2,200 to 2,800 yen. Entry to the 2nd- and 3rd-floor museum needs a date-and-time web ticket bought in advance, on sale from 10:00 twenty-eight days before your visit. Strollers cannot be used inside the 3rd-floor museum, so leave yours in the stroller parking on the 2nd floor (no staff on duty there, so keep your valuables with you). Strollers and baby carriers are not rented, so bring your own. Nursing rooms, diaper changing tables, and hot-water dispensers for formula are on the 1st and 3rd floors, and a microwave for warming baby food is at the Family Station on the 1st floor. From 13 June to 30 September 2026 the Water Play Area is open, and with a change of clothes packed they can get soaked.Pack a change of clothes if you are heading for the Water Play Area. Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the museum (there is a water dispenser, and babies' milk is given in the nursing room), so go down to the 1st floor when hunger hits; the food court and the Anpanman Restaurant there have kids' chairs. There is no timed swap-out, so once in you can stay until closing, and you may re-enter on the same day. Children's toilets are at the Family Station on the 1st floor and on the 3rd floor.
