With kidsThe part that matters
If you want a few runs on the mountain, you can leave the kids with the resort's Kids Club, which takes children from 18 months to 9 years old.
In summer the resort's outdoor playground (Pure) has an inflatable zone with slides and a maze. Six places to stay, plus restaurants and hot spring baths, sit on the same grounds, so a nap or a meal doesn't mean leaving.
The Kids Club takes bookings only in advance and only by email, and you can write in English, since non-Japanese staff handle that address.
Ski lessons stop taking bookings at 4 p.m. the day before, and a class that is full on the day may have no room left for you.

- Ages 0-1Once past the 18-month mark a child can go to the Kids Club and spend the time with English- and Chinese-speaking staff while the parents are on the slopes. The five programs are outdoor snow play, creative workshops, STEM exploration, cultural learning and eco-conscious activities. Winter here brings an average of 18 meters of snow between December and May.The Kids Club takes children from 18 months to 9 years. Booking ahead is required, and enquiries go to kidsclub@niseko-village.com, which is handled by non-Japanese staff only. The 2026-2027 season runs 1 December 2026 to 28 February 2027 and can shift with snow conditions. Rates are 25,000 yen for Morning (8:45-12:15), 23,000 for Afternoon (13:15-15:45), 36,000 for Full Day (8:45-15:45, lunch included) and 70,000 for Premium (8:15-16:15, lunch and Mini Kids included), with extra time at 4,000 yen per 30 minutes.
- Ages 2-3At age 2 the Fuwafuwa area at Pure, the summer nature ground, opens up: a bouncy adventure zone with slides and a maze, two hours per session. Net Tree Trekking is reserved for children 110 cm and under, who cross rope bridges inside a net. In winter this age joins the outdoor snow play at the Kids Club, which takes children from 18 months to 9 years.The Fuwafuwa area is for children aged 2 and over who are 90 cm or taller, with an adult present; two hours costs 2,500 yen for an adult and 2,000 for a child. Net Tree Trekking cannot be used by small children on their own, so an adult goes in too - the accompanying adult is free and the child is 1,500 yen. The Rail Slider and Quick Jump start at 110 cm, so 90 cm and 110 cm are the two marks to know. Every Pure attraction is covered by the Pure Super Passport.
- Ages 4-6Once a child passes 110 cm the Rail Slider - a pulley ride down a suspended wire rail, about two minutes a run - and Quick Jump, a free fall from 7 or 10 meters taking 5 to 10 minutes, are open to them. While still 110 cm or under they have Net Tree Trekking, the rope bridges reserved for children. Tree Trekking with a safety harness takes 20 to 30 minutes on the beginner course. Pure also has park golf (18 holes, about two hours, 1,000 yen), disc golf (9 holes, about an hour, 500 yen), badminton (30 minutes, 500 yen) and a golf-cart ride around the grounds (about 15 minutes, 2,000 yen per cart).110 cm is the dividing line - under it, Net Tree Trekking; over it, the Rail Slider and Quick Jump - so measuring beforehand saves an argument on the day. On the Rail Slider a child below elementary-school age needs a parent along; it is 2,500 yen for an adult and 2,000 for a child. In winter, snow school must be booked by 16:00 the previous afternoon, and same-day places are not always available. Sign up at the activity counter on the first floor of the Niseko Gondola, open 8:00-16:30, or at the school desks in the Green Leaf, Hinode Hills and Ritz-Carlton hotels, 8:00-16:00. Helmets are strongly recommended for skiing and snowboarding and can be rented at the rental shop.
