The park was established in 1973 on 19 hectares beside the Tottori Sand Dunes. Its roofed children's square carries a 130-meter aerial walkway. Age ranges differ by structure. The bounce dome and the inclusive equipment are for ages 3 to 6, and Kids Wonder is for 6 to 12. Rides include a cycle monorail you pedal along a rail 3 meters up and a rail train styled after the Pokemon Sandshrew. Indoors, Sozokan has a library corner and toys for toddlers.

- Fee：Adults and high-school students ¥500, junior-high ¥200, primary school and younger free. In winter (Jan-Feb) ¥300 / ¥120. Overseas visitors pay ¥250 / ¥100 on showing a passport. Junior-high, high-school and university students enter free on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Free for visitors with a disability or long-term-care certificate plus one carer, and for anyone aged 70 or over. Rides are paid separately: ¥100 a ride for the cycle monorail and the battery cars, ¥100 for 10 minutes on the novelty bikes; the rail train is ¥200 for junior-high age and up and ¥100 for ages 3 to primary school; the F1 circuit is ¥200.
