Gunma Kodomo-no-kuni Park

Save

A hillside park where a zip line and a summer bobsleigh run down the slope.

Toddlers get a play area of their own, and the children's hall is where you go when it rains.

Note: children still in nappies cannot go into the summer paddling pond, and swim nappies are not accepted

Basics

Officially this is Gunma Prefectural Kanayama Park. The play zone has the Adventure Fort, a long zip line and an air-filled bouncing dome. Younger children get a separate area with spring toys and a toddler-sized play structure. The cycle plaza runs a monorail bike, a pedal train and battery cars. A summer bobsleigh and a chairlift work between the hilltop and base stations. The paddling pond opens in summer, and acorns turn up under the oaks in season.
