Besides the animal enclosures, the grounds hold an animal science museum, a small amusement park and the former Hunter House. Sheep and goats live in the children's petting area. The museum shelves carry animal books, magazines and encyclopedias. The rides are in the same grounds, so the day can end at the amusement park.

Free with a physical disability, therapy or mental health certificate shown at the gate, plus one carer for holders of a grade 1-2 physical, a therapy, or a grade 1 mental health certificate.
