Lions, elephants and giraffes live loose across the Safari Zone, which you cross in your own car. You can drive the route again and again, though not always more than once when the park is busy. The Jungle Bus trades window glass for wire mesh, and a zebra-striped 4WD takes you closer still. On weekends and holidays a cheetah runs past at full speed. Admission also covers the Fureai Zone, where children meet farm animals on foot.

Basics
- Fee：Admission ¥3,200 for adults (high school and up), ¥2,000 for children (age 4 through junior high), free for age 3 and under, ¥2,500 for over-65s (ID required). Free My SAFARI members can buy e-tickets at ¥2,700 / ¥1,700. With a Japanese disability certificate the holder pays ¥1,600 / ¥1,000 (no reduced rate for a carer). Parking is free. Admission covers the walk-around Fureai Zone as well as the drive-through Safari Zone; horse rides, animal feeding and the Dog House cost extra■
- Hours：Entry is accepted 9:00-16:30 from 11 March to 31 October, 9:00-15:30 in November, and 10:00-15:30 from 1 December to 10 March. The schedule page also lists a start time for each day, which in August 2026 was earlier than the table above (8:30 or 8:45), and says times may change without notice, so check it before you go. Night Safari runs 25 July - 30 August 2026 with entry 18:00-19:30. Typhoons and heavy snow can delay opening, close the park early, or shut it for the day. Re-entry is not allowed■
