Naganobi! is an indoor children's park in Nagano City, run for the city by the Nagano City Development Corporation. It was built on the idea of helping children grow while giving everyone a comfortable place to relax.
The building holds five themed areas: a forest play area, a science and craft area, a wooden toy room, a book and art room, and a space-themed climbing area in the basement.
On a weekday that is not run in timed slots, you can step out to Joyama Zoo or Joyama Park and come back in on the same admission by showing your entry receipt at the first-floor front desk.

If rain washes out your outdoor plans in Nagano, the kids can still play here, because every area is indoors.
In the first-floor forest play area they pull off their shoes, climb a big white hill and slide down it over and over.
No meals are sold inside, so bring a lunch: the first-floor rest area has kids' chairs and a microwave for warming baby food, so nobody has to leave the building at lunchtime.
Weekends, holidays and weekdays during the long school breaks all run on fixed two-hour slots that cannot be extended, but any other weekday has no time limit, so the kids can keep going until they are done.
Children under school age get in free, and an adult from outside Nagano City pays 700 yen on a weekday and 1,600 yen on a weekend or holiday.

- Ages 0-1The Forest Adventure Plaza on the 1st floor is a shoes-off area, so a child who is not yet walking can spend the visit down on the floor. The nursing room and the hot water for the baby's formula are both in that same Forest Adventure Plaza. The building is indoors and all-weather, so rain does not change your plan. Children below school age get in free, whether or not they live in Nagano City, on weekdays and on weekends and holidays alike.The nursing room is in the Forest Adventure Plaza on the 1st floor, and staff will bring hot water for the baby's formula if you ask. The diaper-changing table is in the parent-and-child toilet on the 1st floor, and used diapers go in the bin set aside for them. - If you have booked a slot and the number of children in your group changes, tell them in advance; a change in the number of adults does not need to be reported.source
