Adventure World

Save

A Shirahama park where staff ride the safari bus with you, next to fairground rides.

Some attractions let you hand fish to the sea animals and snacks to the land animals.

Note: an animal patch that works as a lost-child tag is handed out at the information desk, the support centre and the baby care rooms.

Basics

The park divides into a safari, a marine area, petting grounds and a fairground. Staff ride the safari bus and explain what the animals are doing as it happens. The marine show runs forty minutes. Several attractions let you feed the animals by hand. One go-kart course takes ages two to twelve only, and a water maze and a big wheel stand nearby.

Indoor / outdoorIndoor & outdoorA large park: the safari area and the amusement zone are outdoors, while Center Dome, Big Ocean, Entrance Dome and Enjoy Dome are indoor buildings.Web-checkedchecked Aug ’26aws-s.com

Nursing spaceYesBaby care rooms have a hot water heater and a space fathers can use too. The official pages disagree on how many there are: the facilities page lists four (by the exit in Entrance Dome, Center Dome 1F beside the escalator, Center Dome 2F inside Smile Kitchen, Big Ocean 1F), while the FAQ says three. There is also a nursing room at the entrance to the women's toilet on Center Dome 1F.Web-checkedchecked Aug ’26aws-s.com
Family restroomYesThe main toilets have a wheelchair cubicle, and ostomate-equipped toilets are on Center Dome 1F and Enjoy Dome 1F. The toilets inside Fureai no Sato and Safari World are not wheelchair accessible.Web-checkedchecked Aug ’26aws-s.com
