Basics
- Fee：Admission is ¥1,800 for adults (junior high school and up) and ¥900 for children aged 4 to sixth grade. Holders of a disability certificate pay ¥900 and ¥450, with one carer at ¥900. Parking is ¥1,000 a car, cash only. Several things inside cost extra: the Mother Farm Tour DX is ¥2,000 adult and ¥1,000 child, and an unlimited-rides pass for the Wakuwaku Land funfair is ¥2,800 for anyone — though seven rides, including the Farm Zip and the Farm Bungee, are not covered by it, and two more are capped. Set tickets combining admission with the tour or the rides pass are sold at both gates. A two-year passport is ¥4,800 adult, ¥2,400 child. A dog costs ¥700; assistance dogs are free.■
- Hours：From February to November it opens 9:00-17:00 at weekends and on public holidays, 9:30-16:30 on weekdays. From December to January it is 9:30-16:00 at weekends and holidays, 10:00-16:00 on weekdays. The summer holidays (18 July to 31 August 2026), the new year, the spring holidays and Golden Week all run on weekend hours. It closes 14-18 December 2026 and 6-8 and 12-15 January 2027.■
- Booking：Admission is bought at the ticket windows of either gate, Makiba or Yama-no-ue. The Mother Farm Tour DX is different: after buying the ticket you still have to book a departure time at the Farm Station, and the time you want may already be taken; once booked, the time cannot be changed or cancelled. Fruit picking takes no bookings at all and is signed up for on the day at the orchard. Restaurant tables cannot be reserved, even on the day. A pushchair can be wheeled straight into the Fureai paddock, where the animals are not penned and you walk among them. On wet days they move into the barns, and the barns are open to walk through. They return there before closing, so a late arrival still finds them. Hand-milking a cow and touching rabbits and guinea pigs run at set times. Up the hill sit a funfair with a Ferris wheel and a zip line, and orchards for fruit picking.
