Every painting here is a full-size ceramic copy, not an original, so you can photograph everything, including your kids standing in front of the famous ones.
The route through the galleries runs about 2.5 miles (4 km) past roughly 1,000 works, and one family with a 1-year-old and a 6-year-old went in at 10:00 a.m. and came out at 1:20 p.m., so give it half a day.
A 135-foot (41-meter) escalator carries you from the main entrance up to the first galleries, and with no elevator on that stretch you fold the stroller and carry it rather than ride up with a child sitting in it — that is the only carry, because all five gallery floors have elevators.
The information desk at the top, on basement level 3, lends strollers free for children 1 month to 48 months and opens the nursing room on request, so both are settled in one stop.
Every floor has an all-access restroom with a changing table, and if you want to come back in later the same day, sign out at that desk on your way out.

That is why cameras are allowed, and a child can be photographed in front of the paintings.
