Basics
- Fee：Adults ¥700, or ¥600 for groups of 20 or more. Everyone under 18 and everyone in high school or below gets in free - since 1 April 2025 the free bracket has covered high-school age, as part of Aomori Prefecture's support for families. Under 18 includes anyone up to the 31 March following their eighteenth birthday. Holders of a physical, mental-health or intellectual disability certificate enter free, with one carer.■
- Hours：9:00-17:00, last entry 16:30. Closed on Mondays (the next day when the Monday is a public holiday) and from 30 December to 1 January. There are also maintenance closures outside those days, so the opening calendar is the thing to check before setting out.■■
- Time needed：150 min

Three zones fill this Aomori museum: aviation, science and space. The aviation hall runs from early machines like the Narahara Type 2 and Miss Veedol to a YS-11 airliner and a HondaJet demonstrator. The science zone lists twenty hands-on exhibits, among them flight simulators, a wind coaster and a wind table. The space zone has Hayabusa2, a vacuum experiment, a digital globe and a lunar rover. A children's square, a cafe and a viewing deck are inside as well.

A shuttle called the MISAWA Gurutto Bus runs at weekends, on public holidays and on set days in the spring, summer and winter breaks; on other weekdays the museum suggests the Misawa city community bus or a taxi. As a guide from March 2026, a taxi from Misawa station is 7.79km and about ¥3,400, and from the airport 3.38km and about ¥1,700.
