The Kids Square is built for preschoolers — a big airplane to put together, a cart, a house you finish with a crane — and it sits outside the paid zone.
You can start there and buy tickets once everyone is ready; only the adults pay anyway, since anyone of high school age and under gets in free.
The nursing room is inside the Kids Square, and strollers are lent free if you ask at the information desk.
Further in, a few of the hands-on machines set limits on height, age, or weight, so a smaller child may not get on every one. A packed lunch can be eaten in the 32-seat lounge, though not in the exhibition halls.
