Narita is farther from Tokyo than Haneda, but its family facilities are just as complete — and the train ride in can be part of the fun.
Narita has three passenger terminals (T1, T2, and the low-cost T3). Your terminal is on your ticket; they are separate buildings linked by free shuttle buses, and the T3–T2 walk is 15–20 minutes with a stroller. Check yours before you plan arrival day.
Strollers
Free strollers can be borrowed at any information counter in the passenger terminals. Arriving families can pick one up right after immigration and customs — useful for the long walk to the trains. A paid rental service (MoVA) covers strollers you want to take beyond the airport.
Nursing rooms
Nurseries are spread through each terminal, equipped with a breastfeeding booth, diaper changing station, wash basin, and hot water for formula. Terminal 1 also has a Baby Play Space for crawlers.
Play areas
Kids’ Parks are located airside (after passport control) — exactly where you need them, in the wait between security and boarding.
Into Tokyo

On the Skyliner, the large-luggage space sits between the cabin and the deck — that is where a folded stroller goes, and it is under a security camera.

The Skyliner’s multi-purpose toilet has a baby bed and a baby keeper (child seat) — you can change a diaper on board rather than racing for the platform.

The washbasin is built with clear floor space so it can be used from a wheelchair.

JR Narita Express (N’EX) runs direct to Tokyo Station, and on to Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Yokohama.

Highway buses reach major stations and some hotels directly — no transfers, guaranteed seats.

Tips
- Grab the free stroller immediately after customs; the walk from arrivals to the train level is longer than it looks.
- All three terminals have konbini and pharmacies landside for diapers, milk, and snacks before the ride in.
