Naha Airport is Okinawa's gateway, and the Yui Rail monorail starts here at Naha Airport Station, running through the middle of the city to its other end at Tedako-Uranishi in Urasoe.
The buildings went up in stages: the domestic terminal in 1999, an LCC annex on its north side in 2012, then the international terminal in 2014.
A connecting building tied the two sides together in 2019, and you cross between them on a second-floor walkway called Yuinichi Street.

The kids' play area is on the second floor, a few steps from the security checkpoint — the last place to let a kid climb and run before the seat belt goes on.
Nursing rooms are on the first three floors, each with a changing table and a hot-water dispenser for formula, and either parent can walk in with the baby; only the enclosed nursing booths are women only.
To get into town, take the Yui Rail monorail from the terminal: about 13 minutes to downtown Naha, with an elevator at every station, so the stroller can stay on its wheels the whole way.
Airline counters lend strollers free of charge for use inside the airport, so ask at check-in or when you land.
And if your trip runs beach to beach, the Barrier-Free Tour Center on the first floor rents strollers you can take out of the airport, several days at a time and for a fee — better than bringing your own, since sand and umbrella strollers do not get along.
