The Kyo-no-Kawa zone recreates the Yura River, upstream to downstream, and the first tank belongs to the giant salamander. A rice paddy grows on the same floor, and the largest tank, the Sea of Kyoto, holds about 50 species. About 50 Cape penguins are called by name at feeding time. Jellyfish Wonder shows about 30 species, one tank running 360 degrees around you. A craft workshop runs daily upstairs, and the Kyoto Railway Museum is five minutes away in the same park.
