Kyoto Ramen Koji is an indoor lane of ramen shops on the 10th floor of the Kyoto Station building, run by the company that operates the building. Ten shops line it, from Hokkaido in the north to Fukuoka in the south.
Each one is a separate restaurant with its own tables, so a family eating together picks one shop and sits down there.
One of them, Wantanmen no Mangetsu from Yamagata, has been making wonton ramen since 1960 and took first place in Japan's national regional-ramen poll in 2023.

Every shop has kids' dishes and kids' chairs, and you can push a stroller straight in, so whichever one they land on will take you. What none of them say is whether those chairs are high chairs with straps.
The lane is on the 10th floor of the Kyoto Station building, so it works as a meal right before or after a train.
