The village recreates an Edo townscape, with theatres, hands-on halls and a barrier gate at the entrance. At the Henshin-dokoro, costumes are fitted by height rather than age — ninja, princess, Shinsengumi, ronin. Three job experiences are offered: ninja training, child samurai for ages five to twelve, and a detective hunt. When it rains they move indoors. A character called Nyanmage wanders the streets on a whim, so an encounter is down to luck. A shogun theatre opened for the fortieth anniversary in 2026.

Basics
- Fee：One-day pass (tsuko-tegata): ¥5,800 for adults, ¥3,000 for children. Pre-school children are free, primary school pupils pay the child rate and junior-high age and up the adult rate. The afternoon pass, valid from 14:00 (13:00 in winter), is ¥5,000 / ¥2,600. Disability rate is ¥3,500 / ¥1,800 for the holder and one carer with a certificate; over-65s pay ¥4,700 with proof of age. Group rates start at 8 people of primary school age and up. The pass covers every theatre and hands-on hall, but not the restaurants, shops, amusements or some activities. Parking is ¥800 per car, ¥400 for motorbikes■
- Hours：Summer (20 March to 30 November) 9:00-17:00; winter (1 December to 19 March) 9:30-16:00. Passes are sold from opening until one hour before closing.
