Gunma has Kusatsu Onsen, where more hot-spring water rises naturally than anywhere else in Japan. The steaming Yubatake in the town center is free to watch and has foot baths, so even families with a baby too small for the baths get the experience. It suits families trying onsen for the first time.

The safari area's six zones can be driven straight through in your own car, and the drive-your-own-car plan needs nothing beyond the admission ticket. Because you stay inside the car, a baby held in your arms or strapped into a car seat can watch animals walking right outside the window. In the Fureai Park you can get close to red pandas, capybaras and miniature horses. Children under three enter free.There are three nursing rooms: at the information center in the first parking lot, at the Marche shop, and inside the free rest house. Hot water for formula is given on request at the information center, at Restaurant Savanna and at the Oakwood fast food counter. Diapers are changed in the men's and women's restrooms at the information center, in the men's and women's restrooms inside the Marche shop, and in the nursing room of the free rest house. No baby food is stocked, so bring your own. A stroller rents for 100 yen, asked for at the reception window, but it cannot be loaded onto the keeper-experience bus, the feeding bus or the safari bus; the shop in the Walking Safari Zone also lends strollers, for use once you get off the bus.
There is a separate toddlers' playground with spring riders and a small combination play structure. Admission and parking are both free, and children three and under ride the paid attractions free as well. The park opens at 8:30.There are two nursing rooms, one inside the rest house and one on the third floor of the Children's Hall. For safety reasons no kettle or microwave is left out, but the service center will prepare hot water for formula if you ask. Diaper changing sheets are in six restrooms around the park and inside the Children's Hall. Used diapers go home with you. The free stroller loan is meant for children up to two years old, and the service center is on your right just inside the entrance.
The factory tour is a walk of about 330 metres along a corridor with glass on one side — the same route whether you carry your baby or push a stroller. The three production lines run Monday to Friday, so on a weekday there are machines actually moving for a baby's eyes to follow.There is one nursing room, just inside the entrance reception. It locks, has a curtain, two chairs, one baby cot and a foot heater. There is no sink in it, so bring wipes. There are two diaper changing tables — the cot in the nursing room and a fold-down table in the multipurpose toilet — and used diapers go home with you, as there is no diaper bin, so bring a bag. Strollers can be borrowed (ask a staff member). The factory tour route starts on the second floor, but the building has an elevator. Outside food may not be brought in, though there is a 7-Eleven on the site. Parking is free, 400 spaces.
