In summer, the Hills Workshop for Kids fills the school holidays: the 2026 run (July 25–August 16), held at Roppongi Hills and three other Hills sites, planned about 100 kinds of workshops in some 350 sessions. Indoors, the Mori Art Museum's galleries are kept cool for the art and can feel cold in summer, so bring a layer.
Much of the area is indoors, with short distances between stops. In summer, the free rest space on the first floor of the Chuo City Tourist Information Center, about a 5-minute walk from Yaechika's exit 5, serves as a cooling shelter (no eating).
Exit 6 leads straight into the museum, so you need not go outside, but the galleries run cooler than outdoors in summer, so carry a layer. In summer and long holidays the museum also runs craft workshops in its public areas that anyone can join; in 2026, Family Week (July 31–Aug. 6) gave families with children up to junior high priority from 9:00 to 10:00 and offered fan and badge making without prior sign-up.
