The children's ramen set at Nangokushuka Harajuku Menhanbo, 730 yen, comes with a toy the child picks. The children's set at JASMINE THAI Express, 780 yen, is described by the shop itself as Thai-style fried rice that is not spicy. Three sets are exclusive to Solamachi: Azabu-Juban Soba Shogen at 720 yen, Nangokushuka at 730 yen and Ebisu Yakiniku Champion at 850 yen. When the meal is over, the same 3F holds the Rilakkuma Store, Snoopy Town Shop and Miffy Style, with the Tomica and Plarail Shop in block 4 next door.The children's sets at JASMINE THAI and Nangokushuka are limited to elementary school age and under. Children's sets run 500 to 1,100 yen and are offered by 8 of the 11 shops; the three without one are Okhotsk Okoppe Milk Stand, Banana Biyori and Miyatake Sanuki Udon. Being a food court, you pay at each shop separately, but all 11 take credit cards, transit IC money, PayPay, WeChat Pay and Alipay+ among others. Meeting-point calls and lost-child announcements are handled at the information counters at 1F block 12 and 3F block 5.
The Tembo Galleria at 450 meters is a tube-shaped glass corridor that slopes up from 445 to 450 meters. Being a slope rather than stairs, a child can walk it on their own feet all the way to the Sorakara Point, the highest spot at 451.2 meters. A letter posted in the Skytree Post at 345 meters is stamped with a commemorative postmark before it is delivered. On clear cold days or early mornings there is a good chance of seeing Mt. Fuji.A Tembo Galleria ticket can only be added by someone who already holds a Tembo Deck ticket, at the ticket machine on Tembo Deck Floor 350 (1,400 yen adult, 700 yen child). Buying at the 4F ticket counter or machines adds a 500 yen counter issuing fee per ticket (this does not apply to the Galleria ticket), and counter sales may be suspended on busy days, so buying online in advance is safer. Coming down from the Galleria, the official route is Floor 450, elevator, Floor 345, escalator, Floor 340; with a stroller you can use the priority elevator inside the Tembo Deck linking floors 350, 345 and 340. Preschoolers aged 6 and under are free, and ages 6 to 14 pay the child fare.
The jellyfish Big Petri Dish is an oval basin tank seven meters across the long axis, open at the top, so about 500 moon jellies can be watched directly from above rather than through acrylic. Standing on the glass-floored deck that juts out over the tank feels like standing on the surface of a sea with jellyfish drifting below. At the Aqua Base, the kitchen where the animals' food is prepared and the lab where jellyfish are raised are open to view, so work normally done backstage happens right in front of you. The aquarium writes that if an animal catches your interest, you are welcome to talk to a keeper about it.The paid workshops are aimed mainly at elementary school children. Fuwafuwa Kurage is recommended for elementary school age and above, but preschoolers may take part with an accompanying adult, and from age 3 the fee applies (six groups per session, up to two people per group, 1,000 yen per group plus admission, by application). Marugoto Ottosei is for elementary school children. The free workshop Egawari Kingyo runs daily during its period at the Aqua Academy on 5F with same-day sign-up, and no age condition is stated for it (it may end once the places are filled). The official FAQ says it hopes visitors will take about an hour and a half at an easy pace. There are no coin lockers inside.
