Five restaurants share one site around the Kaitakushikan, a red-brick hall listed as Hokkaido Heritage. The old brewing kettles still stand in its main dining room. Poplar Kan grills old-style Genghis Khan lamb in dome-shaped pans; Lilac serves an all-you-can-eat with thirty-odd side dishes. Garden Grill has a nursing room, and baby beds sit in eight places. Strollers roll straight to the table, and food can be cut up small. The summer beer garden sits under a large tent, open in the rain.
