The JR Tower Stellar Place branch, at Sapporo Station, takes no reservations, so you start by pulling a ticket from the machine by the door.
Scan the QR code on that machine and you can wait anywhere else in the station instead of standing in the doorway, because the call comes by email or the LINE messaging app.
Once you sit down, plates of sushi circle past on a belt, and a child can lift one off without waiting for an order to arrive.
The branch has kids' dishes and two kinds of kids' chairs, one that clamps onto the table and one that stands on the floor, so a small child sits at the table rather than on your lap.
You may also bring your own baby food, so the baby eats at the same time as everyone else.

Being a conveyor-belt shop, a child chooses and lifts the plates themselves.
