You can reach its coast without passing through central Tokyo, which makes it an easy place for your first and last night. The Kids' Parks sit past passport control, so the wait after security is spent there instead of at the gate. Every terminal has a konbini landside, where a child this age can pick out their own snack for the ride into the city.Into Tokyo: the Keisei Skyliner reaches Ueno in about 41 minutes with reserved seats and big luggage space; the JR Narita Express reaches Tokyo Station in about 55 minutes and runs direct to Shinagawa, Shibuya and Shinjuku; highway buses go to major stations and some hotels with no transfers and a guaranteed seat for everyone. This is the airport well outside Tokyo, so fix the travel time into the plan for both the day you arrive and the day you leave.
Hand-milking a dairy cow needs no booking and costs nothing, and they do the squeezing themselves. The Mother Farm Tour DX rides a tractor train around the farm: 1,000 yen for children (4 through elementary school), 2,000 yen for adults (junior high and up). A ride-all-day pass for the Wakuwaku Land funfair is 2,800 yen, the same for adults and children.Admission is 900 yen for children (4 through sixth grade) and 1,800 for adults (junior high and up), and the 1,000 yen parking fee is cash only. For the Mother Farm Tour DX you buy the ticket, then book a departure time at the Farm Station; after that the time cannot be changed or cancelled. Strollers cannot go on the tour, so take your valuables with you and leave it in the stroller area beside the Farm Station. There is no restroom out on the tour route. Some Wakuwaku Land rides have age or height conditions, and some need a paid adult alongside, so check before buying the day pass.
Wanpaku Ball Island splits into a yellow island for ages 3 to 5 and a blue island for 6 to 12, so at 6 they move up to the blue one. Pony rides are 100 yen and are for children up to elementary-school age who can sit on their own. Novelty bicycles are 200-300 yen and mini putting golf is 300 yen. On a wet day the Children's Museum's eight studios run hands-on programs, and the programs change every month.Admission is 100 yen for children aged 4 and up and 200 yen for elementary and junior high students, so 4 is where it starts costing; advance tickets from convenience stores or your phone are 10% off, 90 yen for a preschooler. The Children's Museum programs split into drop-in and first-come reservation, and capacity and length differ by studio - Palm Sea World is drop-in, 19 desks, from 40 minutes; Thumbelina is by reservation, 15 people, an hour and a half. The park makes no lost-child announcements, so agree on a meeting place and time first; if a child goes missing, go to the Service Center or the Community Center and staff will search the grounds. There are two low-allergen items: the children's vegetable curry at Pocket in the food shop, and the rice-flour rolls at the Boat House.
