- Fee：Admission is 300 yen for adults and 200 yen for high-school and university students (student ID required). Junior-high students and younger enter free, as do Osaka city residents aged 65 and over (with an original public document showing address and age) and holders of a disability certificate with one carer (original certificate, or the Mirairo ID app). An annual passport costs 1,500 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for students. Groups get 10% off from 30 people, 20% from 50 and 30% from 100. Evening events and special openings may be priced separately. The Flower, Greenery and Nature Information Center is free to enter.■
- Hours：Open 9:30-17:00 from March to October (last entry 16:30), and 9:30-16:30 from November to February (last entry 16:00). Closed on Mondays (the next weekday when the Monday is a public holiday) and from 28 December to 4 January. The garden sometimes opens on a closed day when flowers are at their best, and closes when a storm warning is issued for Osaka — the top page carries the day's status.■■

- Booking：Nothing on the official pages says individual visitors have to book — you buy at the gate. The northeast gate is the exception: it can only be entered with an electronic (QR) ticket. Getting there: the garden sits inside Nagai Park and every route ends in a walk — 800 m east from exit 3 of Osaka Metro Nagai (Midosuji line), 1,000 m from JR Nagai, 800 m west from Kintetsu Harinakano, or 400 m north from the Nagai-higashi city bus stop. Reckon 10 to 15 minutes from the subway station, though the whole way is step-free. Parking: Nagai Park South (nearest to the garden) or the underground car park; rates vary by car park and day, with special rates on event days and Golden Week, and a disability rate of 300 yen a visit at both, on showing a certificate.
